Sour in Bangalore: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bangalore.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bangalore the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on sour: 10 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested sour in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in India, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Bangalore.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bangalore, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bangalore stocks.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bangalore: about ₹3.38 per 10 ml liquid plus ₹42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₹3.38 per 10 ml once 5–10 business days is counted.
How long does sour in a box mod last?
In Bangalore we measured 4 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
