Sour box mod Jouza Hookah in Bangalore: the flat shortlist
Sour in Bangalore: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bangalore.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bangalore the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Bangalore
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bangalore that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₹2.99 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 5–10 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in India, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bangalore, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
